Mrs. Wilson begins her first year in the classroom at Immanuel this year after teaching and leading school music at St. John’s Lutheran School in Newtonburg for the past three years. She has over 20 years of elementary and preschool teaching experience, having also taught at Peace Lutheran School in Livonia, Mich. for 10 years and Lord and Savior Lutheran School in Crystal Lake, Ill. for eight years.

Ann is a 1996 graduate of Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minn., graduating with a BS in Education, and also received her Wisconsin State Teaching Certification in 2019. She serves as one of the organists at Immanuel and as a member of the MLHS Education Committee.

Ann grew up in Midland, Michigan and is married to David, who is principal and 7th & 8th grade teacher at Immanuel. They have two daughters: Emma is a sophomore at Martin Luther College, and Elaina is a junior at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, Wis. Ann’s hobbies include camping, hiking, and cooking.
