Principal's Message

Graduation
It is nearly 80 degrees and sunny as I write this article. This time of year can be so refreshing. It is also a busy time with summer athletics starting up, confirmations, and graduations taking place. At Immanuel we also have a graduation coming up. The ten eighth graders have almost completed their studies in our school. They have grown in their knowledge of God’s great creation. Most importantly they have grown in their faith in Jesus Christ.

The great thing is that they will continue to have opportunities to learn more about their Lord. Just like the rest of us, these students will never be done in their studies of scriptures. Please join our staff as we pray for these graduates that they remain faithful to God and become leaders in their families and in God’s kingdom.

Thursday, June 3rd — Eighth Grade Graduation, Kindergarten Graduation, and Closing Service
At 6:30pm on June 3rd we will conclude the 2009 - 2010 school year just as we started it –with a service of praise to the Lord. This will also be the graduation service for the kindergarten and eighth grade students. Parents, family, and friends are invited to attend.

The students will return to their classrooms after the service and receive their report cards. Parents, please pick up your children at their classrooms after the service.

Assistance Deadline
Immanuel Lutheran Congregation has worked hard to set up a tuition assistance program for families that send their children to our school. The applications for assistance are available at registration. If you would still like to apply, please contact the school office. All applications are due Friday, May 28th.
