Cross Explorations Sunday School Starting Sept. 10th - Register Here

Immanuel offers Sunday school for all children age 3 through 6th grade. We have an excellent and dedicated staff that is eager to assist you in raising your kids to know Jesus by teaching them the important Bible stories that all point to him and his saving work for us all. For this purpose Immanuel utilizes the Cross Explorations curriculum from Concordia Publishing House. These lessons are different from the ones studied by the children who attend our Lutheran elementary school. Variety, after all, is the spice of life.
Classes begin Sunday, September 10th and run from 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Each week the children gather in the church for a brief opening prayer and then the teachers will lead the students to their rooms. Parents are asked to go to the rooms to pick up students after class.

By the way, spiritual growth is not just for the kids. It’s for grown-ups too. During the Sunday school hour you have a wonderful opportunity to grow in your faith through our Sunday morning adult Bible study. On September 10 we will begin a study entitled Reformation: Grace, Faith, Scripture. In this class we’ll dig into reformation history and learn more about what Lutheran’s believe, teach and practice today. By attending Bible study yourself you will be setting an important example for your children, showing them that growing in God’s Word is important to you too.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Luke 18:16). Peter wrote: Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Sunday school and Adult Bible study provide an excellent opportunity to do both. Please join us!
