Trusting Hearts Preschool News for February

The Noah's Ark mural in the preschool room is now finished. We thank Mrs. Shelly Preston for sharing her artistic talents with us. Come and take a look at the mural!

Mrs. Verlinden's class had a "Fun Day" on Wednesday, February 1st. It was "Clown Day." Children wore mismatched clothes, oversized slippers from mom or dad, daddy's tie, clown hats and clown noses. They created clown faces from paper plates and did "gymnastic tricks" for our pretend circus. The children have been learning the seal walk, the crab walk, and the log roll to perform at our big top (circle time).

On Sunday, February 12th both Mrs. Uhlhorn's class and Mrs. Verlinden's class will sing in the 10:30 AM service. Art displays of the children's work will be set up. Mrs. Fiecko, Mrs. Uhlhorn, and Mrs. Verlinden will serve refreshments after the service. Come and stay for cookies! Preschool parents will then go to Mrs. Fiecko's room to register for Kindergarten.

Each family who registers for Immanuel Kindergarten will receive a free book. Come hear the preschoolers sing and stay for fellowship after!
